What is it?
This cyanotype replicates the drawings of “Vance, a Trapper Boy, 15 years old,” as captured by Lewis Hine in his photographic series of child laborers.
It is my guess that the birds referenced in his instructions and drawings are the canaries from the coal mine.
A vinyl cut-out of these drawings also adorns the door for “Outsized Effects”.
