With a form inspired by military radars, this artwork responds to nearby motion by reflecting it as a shimmering silhouette. If the motion is large and active enough, bullseyes are shown, animating in on its detected center.
Its 27 “display blades” each contain 64 LEDs, for a total of 1,728.
“Targeting” refers to an ad-tech practice of attempting to label and categorize viewers through their behavior, so as to show them the most “targeted” ads.
