What is it?
This artwork shows video views from the forest floor, changing occasionally. They can only be viewed by looking upwards from underneath.
I’ve been thinking about the interactions of infrastructure and the natural world. I wondered what it would be like if we had something like a streetlight that offered you a view of trees instead. (Of course, real trees would be better.)
I filmed all of the footage in this artwork, mainly within the last two years.
